The candidate should have passed 10 + 2 Examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology / Mathematics / Biotechnology / Computer Science and English as subjects of study with at least 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

The Bachelors' degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) is of four years duration. The academic programme for B.Pharm. course includes origin, scope and ethics in Pharmaceutical science, the structure and functions of the human body, Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Analysis of Medicines and Dosage forms, formulation of various dosage forms, study of medicinal plants and animals, Advance Pharmacology, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Methods to Practice Pharmacy, various strategies for Pharmaceutical marketing, recent advances in Pharmaceutical industry, etc.
